Scots Sevens

Rhino was proud to be one of the sponsors of the Scots College Sevens Rugby Tournament on Easter Saturday (26th March 2016).

The event was full of great Rugby moments, and the energy and skill on display from the players make it exciting for the future of the game with such great talent coming through.

After a greulling day of action, the tournament was won by Kings College Auckland, who beat a valiant Riverview in the final. The Rhino Shield was won by Lloyd McDermitt Rugby Development team.

Rhino thanks all who came and attended the skills session we put on. Check out some of the pictures from the event below and on our facebook page.

Rhino Rugby was proud to be a silver sponsor of the Central Coast 7’s for 2015.
We had a great day and thank everyone who came to say hi and see some of the great rugby balls and equipment we supply to rugby clubs and individuals.

Congratulations to the Aussie Pearls who took out the cup in the womens division with a win over New Zealand in the final, and to the Aussie Thunderbolt mens team who also took out the cup in their division. Fiji’s Yamaica took out the Rhino Plate.

We look forward to future involvement with the Central Coast 7’s and congratulate all teams that competed for producing such a great weekend of rugby action.

Congratulations to the Australian team who competed at the USA Rugby 7’s in Las Vegas last week.

The boys came second in their pool (Behind New Zealand no less), so it was a great effort.

South Africa took out top spot for the tournament.

Rhino Sport & Leisure Australia’s UK counterpart was major sponsor at the event, and all feedback has been that it was a great tournament.

The Rhino Scrum & Breakdown clinic was held yesterday at Allianz stadium.

Thanks to all that attended and a big thanks to Robert Taylor from Powa Rugby New Zealand who provided insightful hands on demonstrations with the equipment. Another big thanks to the boys from Knox Grammar who were put through their paces doing the hard work of running around and using the equipment. And a final thanks to Jim Williams who gave valuable advice to all present.

Head over to our Facebook page to see all the great pictures from the day.
